The company Octapharma CZ is a subsidiary of the multinational company Octapharma AG, which operates in all important markets in Europe, Asia, USA and Australia.
To announce its re-entry to the Czech market in 2007 the company chose the form of a direct mail focused on the target group of head physicians, pharmacists and managers of regional hospitals.The customer required creation of a non-standard, clever direct mail, which would draw attention at first sight and simultaneously inform readers about the renewal of business activities in the Czech Republic.
The proposed DM contained a medical report with information about the revitalization of the company Octapharma AG, and a prescription which introduced a ?happy omen cube?(ALEA OMINIS FAUSTUM), as well as the cube itself to the email´s recipients. The cube was prepared to spring into the required shape after opening of the envelope.
The prescription and medical report were personalized and together with the cube were inserted into the envelope size C6, which differed in its format from the majority of common correspondence.
This direct mail was very successful, it was well accepted by the addressed doctors and helped the company Octapharma CZ in its comeback to the Czech market.
