Data capture

We get the data not only from standard and proven sources such as reply coupons, surveys and questionnaires, but also by using modern means of communication - telemarketing, e-mail and the Internet.
Input of data into the database is accompanied by many checks, through which we strive to reduce the fault rate as much as possible and ensure the most exact data is stored into the database, which can be consequently processed without any problems. Names and surnames are checked against the database of existing names and capital initials, transcribed address is checked against the database of existing streets, towns and zip codes, the system generates an unambiguous card number and finally data is transcribed repeatedly to minimize possible operator typos. Data is stored in tables connected to the unambiguous identification code so that it can be consequently selected according to diverse criteria.

For the Christmas competition \Orion ?... ORION Christmas Star The company Nestlé as a manufacturer of food, baby formula, sweets, chocolates and drinks is one of the leading global food-manufacturing companies. For the Christmas competition \Orion ? star of fulfilled wishes\" we arranged processing of contest coupons and sending of gifts.
Our operators transcribed data from the contest cards which the competitors received as a part of packaging of selected Orion products. Alongside the transcription of the data from the play cards into the database, CORTEX ensured regular ballot of contest winners (every week 20 winners were drawn under the presence of the notary public). Consequently, for the drawn winners, gifts were completed and sent and they received as a prize in the contest.
We arranged this part of the contest in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
Alongside the aforementioned activities we also took care about the connection of the database with the web service which allowed all registered contestants downloading the computer game ?Secret of the Orion Star? from the Internet for the Christmas contest. 340,000 contestants took part in the Christmas contest \"Orion ? star of the fulfilled wishes\."
